For Kyle, the journey into business began much earlier than he could have imagined.

Becoming a father at just 18 years old meant growing up quickly. It taught him responsibility, resilience and, most importantly, that hard work and determination can take you a long way.

Those lessons would go on to shape the way he approaches both life and business.

🏭 Starting From the Ground Up

Kyle began his working life in warehouse operations, learning the importance of organisation, reliability and getting things done properly.

With a growing family to support, work wasn't simply about earning a living — it was about building a future.

His experience eventually led him into the doormat industry, where he spent years learning the business from the ground up.

Rather than simply doing a job, Kyle wanted to understand how everything worked.

From production and stock to orders, logistics, systems and customer service, he gradually developed a complete understanding of what makes a business tick.

📈 From Entry Level to Head of Operations

Through hard work, dedication and a natural ability to solve problems, Kyle progressed through the business.

What started as an entry-level position eventually led to becoming Head of Operations, overseeing the company's day-to-day operations.

It was here that Kyle's strengths really came into their own.

He developed a passion for finding better ways of doing things — improving processes, solving problems and creating systems that made businesses more efficient.

If something involves a computer, system, website or complicated technical problem, there's a pretty good chance Kyle will eventually end up involved!

At GiftsUnseen, Kyle has taken that experience and combined it with his entrepreneurial mindset.

From building and managing the technology behind the business to improving processes and finding ways to make the customer journey smoother, he's constantly looking for the next improvement.
